What is this?
This presentation explores the various types of DNA tests, the information they return, and how they can be used to establish relationships and solve genealogical problems. We will
• discover how Y chromosome DNA and mitochondrial DNA can be used to solve problems and to confirm lineages;
• learn how autosomal DNA data can be used to confirm and identify close relationships; and
• learn about techniques to use autosomal DNA data to provide evidence for establishing more distant genealogical relationships.
